U Collection Valletta
Our Suites & Apartments in Valletta are located in an Exclusive Neighbourhood right in the Center of the Capital City.
The Location: A unique location within the Urban Conservation Area of Valletta, right in the heart of the Capital City, all our suites and apartments overlook both Piazza Regina and Old Treasury Street. Our Palazzo, converted into four exclusive and luxurious suites and apartments is pregnant with history and heritage – rubbing shoulders with the Bibliotheca, overlooking Piazza Regina, right opposite the Grand Master’s Palace and Piazza San Gorg, and 35 meters distant from the magnificent St. John’s Co-Cathedral. Guests are immediately submerged into Malta’s heritage and history as the street in itself is a symbol of Maltese heritage – it is the only street in Malta which has visual presence of the name given to the street during the French period in 1798, named as Rue de l’Egalité.
The Building: Our historical Palazzo dating back to the 17th Century, adjacent to the Bibliotheca which is a scheduled Grade 1 monument, has been converted into four exclusive and luxurious suites and apartments each carrying a character of their own – designed to amalgamate rich history with modern luxury. The historic figure of the Florentine Knight Giovanni Francesco Ricasoli resided in Old Treasury Street from 1668 up to his demise in 1673. The building which now bears the name U Collection Valletta was in fact previously owned by the Cotoner Foundation, a foundation set up by the Knights of Malta to protect the prestigious Maltese heritage.
U Collection Sliema
Sliema is a major tourism spot on the north eastern coast of the Maltese Islands. Our designer finished Townhouse is truly a home away from home.
The Location: Just on leaving our holiday vacation home in Sliema, The U Townhouse, our guests can watch the waves lapping the shore while having the opportunity to enjoy the promenade which runs for several kilometers from the South of Sliema to St. Julian’s. Along the promenade one comes across the Picturesque St Julian’s Bay, still used by fishermen, lined with bougainvillea-clad cafés and restaurants. Our location in Sliema provides our guests with plentiful opportunity for relaxing beach activities such as an idyllic cruise, water sports or even snorkeling and diving.
